Inclusive Growth and Partnership Working - Bevan Brittan LLP, Interchange Place, Edmund Street, Birmingham B3 2TA
A discussion on the development of economic growth in each area of the country which benefits all sections of society between representatives of local authorities and the private sector. Discussion topics will include:

• How can we develop economic growth in each area of the country which benefits all sections of society, and what role does partnership working between local government and providers of business services play in this?
• How can providers of service and infrastructure projects work with local and devolved government not only to maximise economic growth in each area but also make sure that the equitable distribution of growth is hardwired from the start?
• What role does the commissioning process play in this, so services and infrastructure projects leave a lasting legacy in terms of economic and social infrastructure?
• How effective is the Social Value Act in this work? What are the local economic and social needs it can best address? How can best practice in use of the Act be scaled and replicated? Are further social value metrics required?
